Weld on LCARB's while housing is out?

Engine: Vortec 350 w/ a comp cam
Transmission: B&Mth350 2800holeshot
Axle/Gears: 10bolt 3.23's
Weld on LCARB's while housing is out?
i have my housing out of my car and was wondering if i could weld the brackets on while the housing is out of the car even though the instructions say to do it while its in the car. ive got them squared up with the stock mount and tacked. i was gonna test fit it tomorow and see. what could be off?

well i test fit it today and everything seems fine so i finsihed welding em. i hope there is no problems

i would wait till they are in the car.
my bolt holes didnt quite line up and i had to completely weld mine.
i was going to anyway, just no bolt in the hole. i could have filed or drilled, but waste of time. bolted up the control arm, pushed it to the rear and welded it.
