sway bars sizes for GTA's or I-rocZ28's
hi, i'm trying to find out the stock sizes on these modles..... i recently measured the ones on my 88 formula......disappointment :-( 28 up front and 17mm in rear. Mainly my purpose is to just go to a junk yard and find one of these modles to get the sway bars off it.

36mm front, 23mm rear. Your car should have come with those. Check your SPID label for a W66 code(Formula), also WS6 and FE2(big sway bars ect.). 34mm front bars are easier to find and would still be a huge improvement or what you have now.

maybe i measured it wrong i use a dial caliper. is there a specific spot on the sway bar i should measure? or do you recomend another way to measure it

Just measure anywhere on one of the straight areas. If you're converting from inches 36mm=1.417", 23mm=.906"

Must have been swapped in. Like my 85 IROC, you probably originally had the 34mm/24mm combo. The hollow 36/solid 24 can be found on some Camaros from 89-92 and some thirdgen Pontiacs from 86-92.
