Tokico vs. AGX's

I looking at getting a reasonable price adjustable gas shock/strut and springs for my '92 Camaro. Which is better for street and strip Tokico Illumina and springs or KYB agx's and eibach springs. Or is there something better without going to coil overs?

Re: Tokico vs. AGX's

If you use the agx's, you should not use the ebach springs. the AGX's are supposed to be used for stock ride highth only, they will wear out exponentially faster with a lowered car. The Tokico's are are a proven design, Though IMO a little hard to find. The illuminas are golden. The best thing about coilovers is the adjustablilty, Though I have heard tge ride is very harsh.

Cheers!!!

Coilovers

After looking at Spohn's price for front coil-overs and seeing that my struts are blown up front. I am leaning toward Spohn's front coil-over kit. Any one recommend these or anything else? Also does coil-overs up front and shocks in the rear work well together.

Re: Tokico vs. AGX's

spohsn front coil over kit still requires you to use front shocks. this kit installs over the strut, so you should still buy a good fornt strut

honestly, they are a bit overkill for a street car. a good set of shocks will do just fine.
