Front end question.
Front end question.
Since everyone seems to use the rearend from a fourth gen what about the front end. Is that a direct bolt in, lots of fabrication, or can't be done. My experience is with the 2nd gen. Just starting this project and have several ideas.

Re: Front end question.
I asked the same question on here before. I was told it can't be done, but I was raised with the belief that anything can be done if you have torches and a welder. Once i get out of Iraq I am going to try that myself. The front suspension leaves a little to be desired on third gens. I am hoping to compare measurements before I even get home, but I don't have access to the cars to compare yet. It may not be worth it, I don't know yet.

Re: Front end question.
you can use the 4th gen front setup, it requires you to cut the entire front of the car off and swap it, its totally different. there is a couple pics floating around of a camaro with the 4th gen front grafted in, probably much more work than its worth
