6 1/2 backspace on prostars

hello i would like to know if a set of 15x10 with a 6.5" backspace would fit my 86 iroc with disk brakes? if so what size tires would i be able to fit and finally wat would be the difference if i were to get 5.5 backspace instead. thanks!

the 6.5" of bs would tuck the wheels nicely int he wells, although you will most likely need to do some inner fender mods to make them clear.

the last i remember reading was that a 15x10 with a 5.5 b/s was about the biggest we could run without "massaging" not to say you couldn't do a little "work" on the wheel wells, but i'd be closely checking the placement of the shocks vs. the rims vs. the wells before buying those rims. maybe someone who has done that rim will chime in.
i'd like to hear myself!
