Strut mount dust covers don't fit.
After getting AC Delco strut mounts for my '83 Z/28, the original dust covers won't fit. What's the deal with that? And where would I find dust covers that do fit?

Since the mounts are different, perhaps the answer is the purchase dust covers from an 87+ car.

Re: Strut mount dust covers don't fit.
I had a shop install the mounts/struts/springs. They didn't mention any issues with the retainers. But I wish I had read your thread previously.
So I guess my answer is to find '87 and up dust covers.
