I have a '82 Trans Am with the cross fire 305.I was wondering wether it would've had the WS6 suspension or not.It does have 4 wheel disc brakes,don't know it that means anything or not though.

 

That would be a fine indication it's a ws6 car. however, the only sure fire way to find out is to look at the cowl tag or find the build sheet. The sheet is usualy under the driver seat. And it being an 82, the ws6 suspension is rather tame compared to the 87-up setup.
