Car: 1984 Trans Am
Engine: 305CID - Bored .40"
Transmission: TH700R4
Axle/Gears: 3.73
SWAY BAR BUSHINGS

Is There an easy way to tell what size my sway bar bushings are, i need to replace the front and rear but there are several differnt sizes to choose from, I know this is probalby a dumb question but does anybody have any ideas. It is for an 84 Trans Am, 305SBC, 700R4 with 3.73 Posi.

Hopefully they are the same size as your sway bar

In all seriousness, get under there with a dial caliper, or mark some string around the circumference of the bar and do the whole 2-pi-r deal. Who knows what bars a previous owner put in there.

Granted, there are a limited number of possibilities. Best way to tell is to go measure.
