Should i 8 pt roll bar be installed after all other suspension upgrades so the stance/height sits right?

If your going to go faster than 135 in the quarter or quicker than 9.99. Otherwise its a waste of money

roll bar is needed at 11.49, cage is 10.99.. 9.99 you need a 12 point cage??(not to sure) and a license..
i had my 10point cage in the car when it was running 12's.. needless to say, it has made me feel better in some situations.. for example, going sideways at the 1/8th at over 90mph..
as for doing it before suspension, it doesnt matter.. all in all, it helps bring rigidity to the "frame".. could be an key part it gauging suspension upgrades since the chassis wont flex..

Re: Suspension build Q
Cages aren't only for drag racing.
For a stiffer chassis that controls the suspension better for autocross or a road course, they are a good thing to have, despite not having 9-second 1/4 time times.

Yea it would stiffen up the frame quite a bit. I really don't think it would be that necessary to put in a 8 pt cage.

Re: Suspension build Q
A little off topic, but how much would a 4 or 6 point cage cost to have made and installed? I think an 8 point is a little over kill for something that would still be used as a street car.
