Would like try wider tires; 255/60R15 on my 89 pontiac firebird, V6 (rear use only). Not sure if these will fit properly (tire not outside fender, rubbing...). Thanks,

 

The Member Rides section is not the appropriate section for asking Technical questions, which is why you did not get any response. For tire fit questions (as per the sticky in Appearance and Detailing section that the Member Rides is a sub-forum of) the Suspension/Chassis is the appropriate place for posting those questions.
