could it be??
I have a popping noise in my suspension. The inner and outer tie rod ends, ball joints, strut mounts, and sway bar bushings have been replaced in the last three to four years. I replaced the driver's side a-arm bushings yesterday, and I still have noise that doesn't sound like it's coming from the driver's side. I think it may be one of the steering linkages... is this possible? I've always heard that these pieces don't cause noises....

It's possibility I'd not considered. I haven't seen any rubbed spots though.

Replaced the a-arm bushings, and I've still got the noises. I'm thinking it might be in the steering linkages (idler arm, pitman arm, centerlink). Could these be causing the noises?
