a few questions about jacking the car
ok i'm almost done with getting all my new steering components and sway bar bushings and will soon be putting it all on the car, first question is when i want to jack the rear of the car up so i can change out the sway bar endlinks /main bushings where do put the jack/jack stands?. Second, when i do get all the steering components for the front, should i jack the car up from engine cross beam and put the jack stands on the rails? i did a search and got some info but i would like it to be crystal clear for when i do it.
Thanks

I wouldn't use one of those small CT red jacks on the cross member - the car might slide off it.
For the assend I just put a floor jack under the punkin.

Re: a few questions about jacking the car
This is when I was doing the front and rear sway bar bushings and end links.
Usually I would have the rear stands under the axle but to do the bushings/links I had them further forward.
Pretty sure I had a jack under the pumpkin to control the axle height when I was doing this.
That red jack is the type that I wouldn't want to use under the front CM.

Re: a few questions about jacking the car
it will be easier to keep the car at ride height by putting the jack stands under the axle, or what george said and put a jack under the gears and stands where the lcas bolt to the frame for security.
