Re: 09 ZR1's

I think they are great looking, but only on a newer vette. I would have to se them on a thirdgen.

I don't believe the wheels are out yet. http://forums.corvetteforum.com/show....php?t=2128306

Besides the brakes are where its at on the zr1. Swap anyone?

Re: 09 ZR1's

I don't think I'd like the look of the those on a thirdgen, and I don't like the idea of 19s on a one either (to clear the brakes). Really like the new ZR1s though.

Re: 09 ZR1's

I love the design of the wheels but I hate chrome wheels with a passion and I too think that they are to big and wouldn't look right on a thirdgen.

Re: 09 ZR1's

19's are best for a show car, limited cruiser. tire choices are still limited and very costly. however the fact you have to use such a wide adapter to use these wheels is also an issue. my last set of c5 z06 wheels with adapters was a huge issue and the cost on adapters wasn't fun either.

nice looking wheel though.

Re: 09 ZR1's

not sure about ebay, but there is a Chinese ( ) company making them. here is a pic of them in hyper silver...

http://forums.corvetteforum.com/c5-g...n-on-over.html

and the web site with the wheels here

http://www.factoryreproductions.com/...vette&wheel=14

after seeing a new ZR1 in person, I am STILL not sure how they would look on a third gen. I do however love the design and if anyone wants to do a photochop it would be greatly appreciated!!!

I'd buy that car and ditch those wheels. Ugly and too busy

I saw them in person too, they not too bad in the matte finish. I read that the "busy" design has to with ensuring the structural integrity of the wheel. That's a lot of HP!

BTW, you have some of the nicest non-OEM wheels I've ever seen on a 3rd gen

At $1300 PER rotor, I think that may be awhile.

I like the look of them. Reminds me of a rounded BBS LM. But I hate chrome. They'd look amazing in gunmetal.

EDIT: As well as these in Competition Grey.

Re: 09 ZR1's

man o man would I love to work for the sick individuals at Hennessey Performance Engineering.....

http://www.nextautos.com/zr1-beware-...nnessey-camaro

too bad it's a 5th gen but this is the closest I can find to these wheels on a Camaro. I need to get a copy of photoshop to see how some in gunmetal would look on my car!
