Alright, new here, name's Luigi, do use the site a lot, just have yet to post. So here goes, for reference, I have an 88 firebird formula. Anyway the driver side strut apron is rotted through, rather than cut and replace from a junkyard or make my own plate, do any of you guys know of a place that sells replacements? Either way it needs to be done, but I work enough during the week and would like to take the easier way out. Any tips would be great to if I have to make a replacement, like what gauge the metal is. Thanks in advance.

 

Ive seen a stut tower rotted through on a non F-body, and the guy drove it to a local custom metal shop, and they fixed it to look factory in a couple hours. (then he screwed up painting it, paint everwhere). need a pic to really understand your problem...
