Re: BMR a arms and spohn k member????

Do you have the K-Member already? Our arms are compatible with the Spohn KM but if you're buying BMR arms why not just grab the K-Member also? We can ship them same day if we have one on the shelf, if not 1 extra day to coat one.

Give me a call if you have any more questions!

Re: BMR a arms and spohn k member????

Our A-Arms are designed to work with the factory K-member so if the Spohn K-member accepts factory A-Arms ours will work great... I think there K-member does.

Hope that helps!

Re: BMR a arms and spohn k member????

not to hijack this guys thread, but is there a price difference in getting the pieces non powder coated. I'm looking at doing a custom color after recieving the piece.

I understand but we've always considered our 3rd Gen K-Members to be totally suitable for daily driving. What are some of the concerns you have with it?

cornering loads... daily pot holes... and i use stock spring locations how sturdy are your upper spring brackets stuff like that. Ive seen cracked K-Member from places like PA before and its not pretty but i really need the room in my bay.

Well I can assure you that all our 3rd Gen K member will hold up fine even in a pothole ridden, crappy railroad tracked town lol

I went and took a few pics to show you the construction of our K-Member. Sorry its a little dusty its on our display

All control arm pockets are cnc laser cut and formed one piece .187 steel with welded seems

Also both control arm mounts are gusseted against the cross tubes which are 1.5"x.120 wall DOM with mount gussets that are .75"x.120 wall DOM and chassis mounts are gusseted .187 plate

You can see here that the rear main tube is fully intergrated into the A-arm pocket and the front chassis mount tube rather than just butt welded against the side.

The engine mounts are also gusseted against the arm pockets as well as the chassis mount tube

The upper OEM spring mount sandwiches between these two chassis mounts which are now both 2.25"x.120 wall DOM capped tube (this is an older K-Member and the old front was smaller) and rests agains the front frame rails to evenly distribute the weight of the front end.

Last but not least here is one that isnt coated and was welded by our head welder Danny. As you can see his welding skills are top notch!

Again if you have any more questions feel free to ask away!
