Help! I bought wheels that don't FIT!!!!

Ok, I bought a set of 95 camaro wheels and they won't fit. Do I need a wheel spacer of something? They are the 16' "blade" kind from the z28. The front ones won't fit b/c the inlay isn't as extreme as with my 92's 15's. Where would I get a spacer? Do I do any Grinding? Thanks, Nate

I think you'll need a 1.5-2 inch bolt on spacers. Never ran 4th gen 16s myself.

Just a little bit of would have found you the answer. This is one of the top 5 topics asked here. Yes you need spacers to fit 4th gen wheels on a thirdgen.

http://www.skulte.com/ sells them.

Re: Help! I bought wheels that don't FIT!!!!

Thanks for the info, that site was a little expensive. I can get 4 2" spacers on ebay for 140.00 with free shipping. I apologize for the redundant post, I did a search and saw that people were using spacers but I wasn't sure how large and if it would be diff. for my 92 than for the other various 80's thirdgenner's etc. I just wanted to play it safe and start a thread of my own.

Lug Question: Should I use my stock lug nuts to put on the spacers and then buy 4th gen lugs for the threads coming from t he spacer? How can I torque down on the wheel spacers properly on the front? Will it hurt my brakes or wheel bearings to have someone hold down the brakes while I torque down on the spacer? Thanks guys!!
