275s all around 2" spacers

Well I already ordered everything and am just waiting on the spacers

275/40/17s nitto 555's all around with the z06 motorsport wheels 17 *9.5 w/ skulte 2in spacers....how much are they gonna stick out? I know i probably went too wide up front but its too late now...so any opinions would be cool

Re: 275s all around 2" spacers

Go to my CarDomain. Click the signature picture for a link. That's how much they will stick out. Maybe a fuzz more on the rears since my 4th gen rear equals about 1.7" instead of your 2" spacer.

Yup. 2.0" Skulte spacers and 275/40s.
Here's another shot from a better angle for seeing how much the stick out.

Re: 275s all around 2" spacers

No problem, happy to help. I like them better than the stock wheels since the 4th gen rear end spaces out the stockers about 1.5 inches lol. Thank you. I hope I can manage to keep in one piece until my next set of exterior mods

Re: 275s all around 2" spacers

Well, there are some issues with rubbing at full lock. The tires rub on the plastic inner wheel well. Seems worse since my brake conversion since the wheels are spaced out more. The rears used to rub on the inner lip of the rear wheel well if I had more than 2 people in the car, but my auto body guy cut about 3/8 of an inch off the inside lip and I can now ride 4 ppl in the car with no issues.

so the fronts just at full lock and the backs when you have a full load? How much did it cost to get that little bit cut?
thanks

He was replacing a quarter panel I'd smashed up with a mailbox. He just did it while he was in there. I don't know what'd cost normally. You can roll the fender though.

does it make a diff that you have the lowering kit? also could you hear the rubbing or just saw it after the fact?

Re: 275s all around 2" spacers

Yeah, the fact it's lowered affects it. I can run without my rear isolators (about another 1/2 inch drop than with the ProKit and isolators) when running the ZR1s. With the stockers, I have to run it because of how much more they stick out. I don't know if you'd have issues with it on stock springs or not. I'd think you'd want to space them out enought to clear the inside of the wheel well and suspension, but keep them as far inboard as possible to avoid rubbing. You can hear them rubbing when they do it. It's usually just on hard bumps at high speeds if just 1 or people in the car or about any bump with 3 or 4. Now I can hit about anything with myself and my 2 ~200 lbs friends in the car without issues (since it was trimmed and with the 17s and no isolators).

Re: 275s all around 2" spacers

The 275/40R17s are with in a couple of tenths of of an inch of the stock tire size, so you should have about the same gap.
