Last thread for a while! Tire questions
Thanks for putting up with all my newb new threads.
I am getting a pair of 15x10 Alum slots for a good deal, and they have 295/50/15 tires.
Will they fit on a factory 85 trans am... (No upgraded shocks, no beating the wheel well, no back spacers etc etc) without rubbing or scraping when hitting potholes?
I am sure someone has some sort of experience with this already.

Re: Last thread for a while! Tire questions
what kind of backspace?? with a ten inch wheel on the back i think your gonna need at least 6 inches of backspace or theyre gonna rub your guarter pannel. i had an 8.5" aluminum slot with 3.5" of backspace and it was sticken out about 3/4" on the quarter. had to sell them. i would LOOOOVE some more slots.

yeah, 6" of BS is ideal, 5.5" will work. the only clearance you may have to do is a little hammering at the front of the wheel well.
