Terrible alignment?

Ive been having a problem with very bad positive camber wear for a while now. i just recently rebuilt my whole suspension with poly bushings and kyb gr2 shocks / struts. After i finshed the rebuild i took the car to get aligned and it has been feeling very sloppy with about an inch of play off center on the wheel and wandering around terribly. The car is also lowered approx 2.5in.

my specs are.

1.2 L 0.9 R camber
2.2 L 2.5 R caster
0.04 L 0.03 R Toe and 0.08 total toe
steer ahead is 0.01.

my question is are these specs any good or are they way off?

if so what shold i set the car to?

Re: Terrible alignment?

For performance reasons get rid of the positive camber....run 0 degrees at most...I think spec from factory is set even at 0......positive camber, IMO, does no good except smooth ride out....I run 1.5 degrees negative camber, both sides, and then run a slight toe in on the total toe to compensate for the camber....This setup or something similar will improve your cornering hands down...except you'll get more pull from uneven road surfaces....also make sure everything under there is nice and tight. The car even with those specs shouldn't have any play, but maybe. Check to make sure they left nothing loose, and even check stupid stuff like tire pressure....then after that, take it back And have it aligned to at least 0 camber and 0 toe (which your toe is close now), I don't remember what the caster setting is supposed to be...I thought 5 degrees, but I could be wrong....if it is supposed to be more, that can be a problem as well.

Re: Terrible alignment?

Positive camber will make the steering light and the cars handle bad.
Most tyres are effective with some negative camber between 1 to 3. It will also "tighten" the steering.
