never heard off having to modify your spring position, subframe connectors don't go anywhere near your springs

Re: Subframe connectors

If I were to do it again, I would choose the UMI SFC's over Spohn, not because I don't like their performance, but because they were a PITA to weld in. Spohn's are made out of pipe, so there's minimal clearance to shove your MIG gun nozzle in.

Hello
Thanks for the recommendation and glad that you like the product. UMI Performance does offer a weld on version of SFC's. Below is a link to show you what all we have to offer!

Re: Subframe connectors

Hello, justy to give you another option we ofgfer two different weld in connectors for the third gens. Part Number SFC008 is designed for cars with full length headers and exhaust systems that run inside the frame rails. Part Number SFC009 is designed for cars equipped with the OE manifolds or shorty headers with OE exhaust or OE type exhaust that runs on the passenger side, outboard the subframe. We reinforce the rear control arm mounts with HD 3/16" plate and use rectangular tubing to join three areas: the rocker pinch welds, rear control arm boxes and front subframes. This ties in the entire floorpan of the car by joining key structural components. If you have any questions please give me a call.
