Which K-Member is the best?

I was looking at either BMR or Spohn K-Members and a arms, they look almost the same. just wanted to know from those who own one which would be best for the money.

Re: Which K-Member is the best?

some people complain about the Spohn piece lowering the car, hitting the steering linkage, not fitting ect. Not sure if this has been resolved.

Never heard any issues about the bmr piece, though i think you have to use their a-arms? not sure on that one.

Racecraft also makes a good piece. Im still holding out for UMI to make one.

I have the RaceCraft K-member and A-arms. Not installed on the car yet but appear to be nice pieces.

I have the Spohn k-member and a-arms, with no problems. It bolted up with no problems.

Re: Which K-Member is the best?

It looks like Spohn has more options, but i might go with the BMR because i only live like 45 minutes away from them and could pick it up.
That racecraft k-member isnt a bad deal since its chrome moly

Re: Which K-Member is the best?

I think I may wait to see what UMI comes out with. My biggest gripe about each company is each one has different options, each havign at least 1 I want. BMR has integrated poly mounts. Spohn has the stock k-member brace mounts and braces. Racecraft has a road race version (more bracing, but no k-member front braces like on IROC-Z's), and an option for a tow hook (I'd like this as I plan to go to the track often, it will help).

So I think waiting for UMI to come out with something would be best.

I'd like to have a road race version, chrome moly, with front k-member braces and integrated poly mounts and a tow hook. So maybe UMI will see this and add to it or have all these options per request at least. We will see.

I have to agree with everything you said. I hope UMI is listening, that would make up the ultimate k-member IMHO.
