Car: 1986 trans am
Engine: 305 with almost 2000000 on it!!
Transmission: 700 r4
corvette to t/a

so this may have been covered already but i skimmed through and i didn't see anything. is it possible to take the suspenssion from the corvette and put it onto my t/a? i am not a fabricator, but if it bolts on it'd be cool. i don't know how much stuff converts over from one to the other.

I know there are kits to convert corvette brakes to fit.

well thats kinda boring, i don't think there would be much benefit of spending the money when you can just get slotted rotors for prob. less

no... Stock calipers have 1 piston while C5 brakes have 2 pistons thus more braking power.

Not trying to start a debate or anything, but all the guys ive seen on here that have done it say its an AMAZING difference. Then again i have no f**king experience with it lol.

and ive also been looking into slotted and drilled rotors for mine
