Steering Joint & rag joint eliminator
Has anyone done both the Steering U Joint & rag joint eliminator?

Can use Flaming River and/or Astro Van parts to make one. There are several pictures of the results posted here on TGO.

Thanks for the link, not looking to spend all that money on a shaft.
i looked more into a rag joint eliminator i think all just replace the one i have with a new one. I havent looked into it much but i see these all the time in autoparts stores and are farly cheap like from dorman link:

how do these hold up in a heavy connering force/load?
i would also like to replace the upper portion of the shaft. would some type u-joint work?
