To Bilstien owners

A stupid question, but I looked through the directions, and it doesnt say where to place that washer for the top of the strut?
I put it on the bottom because it looks as if you dont, the threaded rod comes up WAY too high.
I put it under the mount, and it looks good, but I wasnt sure exactly where its supposed to go.

Re: To Bilstien owners

it goes on top, i can't imagine how it would come up too high, the design of the strut makes it so that it fits into the sleve of mount, right now your shock is just resting on the bottom of the mount, probabaly has lots of side to side play when the nut isn't tightened down, not safe, do it right

Re: To Bilstien owners

The Bilstein rod sticks up way higher than any other struts I've used, so much that the plastic strut tower caps won't fit. Minor PITA.
