Need Help with finding a pressure line for my power steering
Thanks EVERYONE in advance for any help on this.
I am building a show car, 87 Iroc, 90% complete. I have a Keyway power steering pump from a 72 Camaro (keyway have MUCH nicer pulleys than press fit) and I have the original power steering unit from the 87 camaro. The 87 pressure line does not fit the 72 pump, Does anyone make a pressure line for this configuration? Does anyone know what size the fitting on the 72 pump and the 87 gear box are for the pressure line? OR is there an adapter I can use on the pump?
ANY help would be GREAT, Thanks Again!!!

The pressure fitting assembly from your '87 pump will thread right into a '72 pump. I've put '91 pressure fittings into stock GM '67 pumps.
Just keep the same spring and intermediate valve together with the pressure fitting. And in the same sequence and orientation. As you unthread the pressure fitting the spring will push that and the other piece out. So keep them in order. Note that the spring pressure is light, only a few pounds. But it is enough to pop the parts onto the floor if not careful.

Re: Need Help with finding a pressure line for my power steering
After opening some of these pumps up on the bench I was amazed that they are basically the same. From '67 through '91 (and probably '92). The pump vanes are thinner in the newer pumps. And there is some minor machining differences. And of course the shaft has been changed.
But other then that, they are identical. Even the same casting number for the body.
And some place along the way a magnet was added to the pump casting. Just stuck on at a low point.

You may need to change the tin around the pump. But otherwise the guts will be the same.
