Was turned down today by an alignment shop saying they couldn't do the alignment without replacing the idler arm and centerlink. i wasn't there to pick up the car or talk to the shop but when i got it home i had a look and nothing caught my eye. snapped a few shots from the engine bay (v6 haha)
anything stand out to you guys?

You just need to check if there is any play in them. It's an 18 year old car, they probably do need to be replaced. I would trust the shop.

Instead of replacing parts piecemeal, you might consider a front end rebuild.

If you plan on keeping the car, bite the bullet and replace all the front end parts. Been there and done it.
