Spring Rates

Hey I was wondering if anybody knows a way to find out what the factory spring rates by the RPO codes, since all 4 are different. Just curious on how much of a difference there was from left and right. Thanks!

Re: Spring Rates

The RPO codes show different numbers to designate which spring goes where... 6, 7, 8, 9, are the corners of the car. The actual springs themselves are tagged with a code that sort of ties in with the spring rate. Sometimes you'll see different springs left/right on the front, but the rears always are matched. I've yet to see any reputable spring rates published for the different codes, only the GM catalog system that shows which are stiffer/softer.

Re: Spring Rates

Hey thanks Drew, I was going to ask my local dealer but it seems they don't like to be bothered with questions like that. So thanks for your help, greatly appreciated.
