anybody have Hochkis Subframe connectors?

anybody have Hochkis Subframe connectors?

i just picked up some today from a friend that gave up on his maro project..there slightly rusted in a couple places but overall in good shape..i got them for $100,good deal? i believe they go for over 200 new,anyone else have these? happy with them?

you could always get them sand blasted, and re powder coat them to eliminate/reduce further rusting? and ya that's not a bad deal, although they look prety basic to fabricate? they would make a good template

yes they prob would be easy to fab if i had the tools to do it,but i dont.
i wouldnt pay 200 for them but 100 seemed reasonable,im just gonna grind down the rust and paint them with some rustoleum so it doesnt look horrible..its gonna rust again when i weld them in anyways from the heat baking off the powder coat.

I'd say that some connectors are definitely better than none. if they're bolt in, give it a try and see what you think. If you like them, you can alway get them welded in and repainted/coated.

o ok did not know you were going to weld them?
o and if youre going to refinish where the rust is a can of spray rubberizing always makes for a nice investment
