SFC's for true duals?
I'm looking at getting some sfc's for my new '87. Id like to get tubular style because everything else is tubular on the car and it would be nice to stay with that plus i hear they are better? The car has long tube headers and true duals underneath and ive searched that their are two different styles i think umi makes one for stock and one for duals. But others dont say anything about exhaust and well im confused. Any suggestions what I should go with??

Hello
Thanks for considering UMI Performance. Seeing how true duels will mount along the tunnel area. You will be fine using our SFC's. If you have any other questions feel free to ask! Below is a link to show you what we have to offer!

no pics right now it has long tubes and the exhaust just goes straight back so its along the tunnel more, not stock true duals

Re: SFC's for true duals?
if they follow the trans tunnel most of the regular perimeter style Sfc's will be fine. Most sfc's are the same basic type as the spohn ones I have and they worked fine with my old dual setup and my current LT's -> Y-pipe setup. If they go along the pinch welds at the rockers and have braces going to the outside of the trans tunnel subframe rails you should be fine as long as your exhaust is routed on the inside of the subframe rails.
