Re: suspension

Air bags are, by far, the most expensive, the hardest & least common way to lower a 3rd gen.

Cheapest is cutting your coil springs. Virtually free except your time, your labor & an alignment afterwards. And perfectly safe when done correctly.

Next up is buying aftermarket lowering springs & the most common method. Prices vary, depending on which brand you choose. Some are better than others.

Then there are weight jacks, like what I chose. Really short springs, that sit on, or under, adjustable spring seats. This is what I did. More expensive than just lowering springs, but allows you to change your ride height (manually, from under the car by hand) whenever you want/need to.

Obviously if you change the front height very much, there goes your alignment after adjusting it, if you choose weight jacks.

Re: suspension

Welcome to the forum!! There are several different ways to go about lowering your car. Air bags is one option, and lowering springs are another option. We have a set of lowering springs for the rear and a coil over conversion kit for the front struts to convert them into an adjustable coil over so you can set the ride height at what you want it to be. Here is a link to our site. Take a look and if you have any questions please let me know.

Re: suspension

You'll need an adjustable panhard bar if lowering to re-center the rear wheels.
