Springs- do they just get weak over time?

Ahhhh well its good to be back, back down to business-

My rear springs seem extremely soft. i have abig tme with bottoming out, although the ride hieght is stock, not low at all, and i seem to bottom out all the time. I have NEW shocks in the back. reason i ask is cuz i noticed where i bottomed out last- the lca mount on the drives side.. i have a set of ws6 springs inmy basement, and i eventiually plan on lowering the car, but what should i adress here? the springs gone soft, but not effecting ride hieght? doent make sense....

IF your springs had a problem you would definatly have it show up in ride hieght. sounds like you problemn is more worn out shocks/struts.

What brand of shock did you install in the rear? Is it pure hydraulic; or low gas or high gas pressure?

Do you have stock aluminum wheels, or big honkin' steel chromies with 275/50 meats on there adding unsprung weight?

Do you have 100 pounds of stereo gear in the hatch?

We need more info to help you out.

got a small 10 inch sub with a small amp, stock wheels and tires (235/60 r15) and gabriel Sport shocks(the stiffer ones) high gas i think.

OK, it doesn't sound like you are carrying any real extra weight back there. Well, maybe new springs are worth a try. I do know however, since I had them myself, that Gabriel shocks/struts are on the soft side.
