suspension ?'s

Got a couple ?'s. I'm looking to pull a full G on the skidpad and have a pretty good idea how to do it but am getting down to the swaybars etc. Here's my current list of PARTS. (since the car has no motor/ trans/ re/ susp in it)

APHR-lakewood
springs-granatelli
struts-kyb
lca's-bmr
bushings-energy
tie rod sleeves-hotchkis
speed bleeders
4wheel disk 3.73 r/e
auburn posi (slp take off)
powerstop slotted rotors

I'm wanting to get the spohn adj. torque arm, need sfc's, gonna do a 6point cage, Ground control camber/caster plates, and a good 17in wheel/tire combo. What else am I missing? I get the feeling that I have enough to do a full G. But since I've got the car up in the air and all sripped down I want to do it all at once. Any help is greatly appreciated.

A good adjustable panhard bar will help alot, especially if you put in lowering springs. Also if you haven't already, new tie rod ends and ball joints, idler arm and center link really help tighten up the front end.

Missing: LCA relocation brackets. Don't "think" about doing SFC's, definitely DO them! Even if it means putting something else on the back burner. Also you might want to look at 1LE sway bar connectors, (www.vandevere.com contact Dal) and Global West Del-A-Lum front LCA bushings. Good Luck, Lon.

Quote- "I NEED sfc's". I know this. Total front end rebuild is also part of the plan.

You guys should know that this car will be FEARED when I get done. I'm talking mini-ram, 383, full roller, dfi, nos, road race susp., the whole 9 yards. I plan on having basically a OneLap car that looks show quality. It's gonna take a while but, when it's done you'll know it.

If you really want to be feared, call Global West. This is what the road racers use and definitely what the winners use. I have all their parts that are legal in my class, Camaro Mustang Challenge, LCAs, Adj. PHR, Del Alum bushings, power steering bar support. I bought caster camber plates from Ground Control because GW did not have theirs for sale earlier this year. They do now!

I have seen the other brands of stuff and they just are not as beefy. My road race car is an '84 TA, I have even more GW stuff on my '97 TA daily driver. Wish I could have their torque arm on my race car.

Thank's Julie. I'll take all the help i can get. Any little "tricks" i should be aware of other than replacing parts? Like gusseting the A-arms or something?
