Handling, what mod to do next? HELP
My car handles great with the upgrades I've done but it still doesn't grab as much as it should in the front end. I was hoping you guys could help me decide on what to get next. I have an 86' Z28 with this chassis setup:
- 245/50-15" Euro T/A's H rated
- Subframe connectors
- Eibach springs
- Monroe Sensacraps(I think they are blown)
- Reinforced rear LCA's w/poly bushings
- Spohn Adjustable panhard rod (getting)
- Stock 1.33" front sway bar w/poly endlinks
- Stock .90" rear sway bar w/poly endlinks
What should I do next? Struts? Swaybars? 275/40-17's? Thanks.
P.S. Do Koni's make a noticeable difference in handling over stock?

I would do shocks and struts first . konis will be 10 times better than stock , I have Bilstein on my car and love them . I would do this before going to 275-40-17 .

I'd get new shocks and struts next for sure.
They are too important to pass on and will make a world of difference if yours are worn.
Two things that will help your front end are the wonder bar from Global West and a strut tower brace like the one from Edelbrock.

I dont know much about the tires you have on the front but unless they are really soft you arent going to get the handling you want. Tires are the LAST place you should skimp. My feeling is tires make or break a car handling wise. My friend has yoko avs sports. They are a decent tire to start with, but for Really good performance you should run yoko a032r's. Damn they are soft. On the back you could use the same but they wont last long.

Right on, Scooter! If you are looking for some good, sticky rubber on a budget, the Tire Rack has Bridgestone Potenza RE71's for $88. That is for the 245/50zr16's. The tread wear on them is 140, and you can stick your thumbnail in 'em and leave a mark.

New (to me) 87 Formula 350. Edelbrock TES, Flowmaster, airfoil, K&N in modified airbox, March underdrive pullies, still slow....for now.
