First mod?

Okay, here is what I have now. A 1990 Firebird V-6 w/ 15 inch rims and kinda mismatched tires from previous owner. 215R65/15s. Anyway, what should I do first? I was thinking the 16 inch rims and low profile tires would be 1st, for these reasons: tires are mismatched and suck as they are. 15s suck. When cornering hard for a long period first thing to give is the tire sidewall. When taking a sharp short turn the first thing to give is the traction in the rear. I don't have wheel hop problems, like I did with my Camaro. Though I felt I should buy shocks, struts, springs, GTA rims and new tires (245a or 275s) and get them all done at the same time for alignment reasons so I only have to get it done done and everything installed once.
Anyway, what do you guys think about all that stuff I just said?
Thanks,
Douglas
