Anyone using 28" slicks?
#2
I was running a M&H Racemaster DOT slick measuring 28.2" tall and 11.2" wide with about 10" of tread. Just about a perfect fit, only slight rubbing in the front of the rear inner fenderwell on both sides. This can be taken care of with some smacks of a hammer, lol
Also I was using a Weld Draglite 15"x8" with 5.5" backspace. No spacers at all.

Car: 87 IROC L98
Engine: 588 Alcohol BBC
Transmission: Powerglide
Axle/Gears: Ford 9"/31 spline spool/4.86
15x10 rims, 28x9 slicks, 5.5 backspace fits OK. I could probably go to 28x10 when I burn these ones off.
