What are the best sprigs?

There are alot of them out there, so whitch one are the best for racing, whitch ones for a good street ride and handling. Has anyone used the Edelbrock springs if so how are they. And what is the diff between reguare springs and the varibale rate springs? Thanks

Howdy there, well I have Global West springs on my car, and I'm quite happy with them. The car rides like a one-ton dually but it handles great considering I'm not done with it yet. If you were to talk to the techs at Global West they would reccomend Constant Rate springs instead of Variable rate but you have to do your own research and figure out what you want. Seems to me that most folks are happy with their Eibach springs, where I prefer the Global West, and could care less about ride quality, I'm more concerned with handling. Consequently, I live in Montana, and the streets here are poor at best, so my ride suffers on a daily basis. Take care now.

Edelbrock springs are OEM'd by Eibach, they're same characteristics as the Pro Kit pieces. Too low for my preference.

I went with Moog 5662s and cut 3/4 coil off to get the height where I wanted it, 1/2 inch lower than stock but a tad stiffer as the Moogs were 705 lb/in from the box.

I'm running the Jamex springs and IMHO they are the best bang for the buck springs out there. Handling is great and the ride isn't too harsh.

For the street.. stock IROC springs offer the best combination of ride and handling IMO. I like the BZWs for the fronts and the NNNs for the rear.
