Is it possible to modify "rear" offset 16s on the FRONT of a Gbody?

I have a set of iroc rims on my Grand Prix, the problem is that the rear rims have way too much backspacing, so I can only put on a 235 size tire or it will rub since its so pushed in towards the frame, but there is a TON of room under the fenderwells....If I could somehow put the FRONT rims onto the BACK of the car, and the rear rims onto the front, I would have another inch or so to play with, not good but better than nothing, problem is when I try putting the REAR rims onto the front of my Grand Prix the hit the disk brakes so they won't even move. Can I somehow clearance the brakes/rims, or would buying a set of 1/2inch spacers do the job?? Anyone ever done this?
Chris

the only way is to either get spacers made or get a set of 4 front rims , that is the only way to do it with out spacers , had a buddy who had formula rims on his regal , he used 4 front wheels

Which brings me to my next question then, who wants to buy a set of rear rims and give me their front rims
