Glass Vs. Lexan T-Tops

I have the Lexan T-tops on my 89 Formula. I want to put glass ones on though. Is it just the Lexan tops that have a 5/8 (roughly)security pin in them? The glass ones seem to have a 3/8 (roughly) pin, what year have the larger pin?

I swapped my 87 glass tops for some 89 lexan ones. The pins were the same size. I don't know what the size was. Someone on the drag forum is looking for some lexan ones.

you just gotta be careful about what year you get the glass ones from...just make sure that they're from a thirdgen after 87 or so because the earlier types have a different setup, so it is a quick swap if you get the right ones...

I wish I could get some lexan ones for my '82, but I have to grab the whole mechanism to get them to fit.
