Car: 90 Formula, 02 ws6
Engine: 305 tpi, ls1
Transmission: 700r4, t-56
Axle/Gears: stock posi 2.73, 12 bolt with 4.11s
ws6 springs

my 89 trans am with a 305 tpi
i have the ws6 rpo code and on the dash it says preformance suspention but the car is offly high off the ground and not shore if work was done
what do the ws6 springs look like (color,etc.)so i can tell if i have them

If you have the WS6 RPO code, you have the WS6 suspension. There is no 'color coding' as far as springs go.

Yeah, bone stock 3rd gens with WS6 suspension have about 4 inches of fender/tire clearance.

Yep, i could clear all kinds of stuff with my WS6 springs. Then i got the hotchkis' springs and now have to slow down when pulling into the filling station.

Did you get the one inch Hotchkis lowering springs? Did they lower the car more than one inch? How is the ride quality of the Hotchkis?

The front dropped 1", the back was more like 1 1/2". The ride seems the same to me.
