Has anyone installed Competition Engineering Subframe connectors?
I bought a pair a couple of months ago and just got around to installing them. They came with no instructions and quite honestly I could have made them with $10 worth of materials and about 30 minutes time. They are the weld on style that have a flange that looks like it would bolt on where the transmission crossmember goes. Is that right? What about the rear of the connectors? If you run it straight back it comes nowhere close to the rear frame rails and they extend almost to the rear axle. Do you have to cut the floorboard to get them to fit flush? What are the two 4 - 5" long pieces of 3/4" pipe for?
Thanks
Thanks
