Plz read ---->Brakes: odd clicking sound when coming stop after brake job
First of all this is what I did:
-turned one rotor(left)and replaced the other(right)
-repacked old set(left)of bearings and new set(right)
-replaced both calipers with remanufactured ones.
-installed new pads (Raybestos)and bled the brakes.
About 1-2 weeks after the brake job they started to squeal (both sides). Also, normally when it's cold and I come to a stop I begin to here from the front left side a sound like click-ah-click-ah-click and I can feel a slight pulse in the brake pedal at the "click" sound. Can anyone give me any ideas what may be causing this and guess what i may have done wrong when doing the brake job? Thanks.

) The pads (154?) should have tabs on the outer pads. These tabs need to be pinched down on the caliper to anchor them. If you don't you will get that clicking sound as the pads move around. Did you check the new rotor for truness before it was installed? If not, it could have a slight warp that can also cause/aggrivate the clicking noise. I'd make sure the pads are anchored first and see what it does. If it doesn't cure it you may have to turn the rotor. Good luck, Rob.

Thanks Rob, but the sound is coming from the resurfaced old rotor (front left) and unfortunately i didnt recheck the trueness. But Ill check that tab thing. Do i just pinch them down with pliers if they arent hugging tight enough? Ill be able to check them out this weekend. Thanks again.
