brake fluid leaking..

What causes the brake fluid to leak from the resivor? Do the seals need replacing under he tank itself or just the lid? Are they special seals or can they be picked up from any parts store? This fluid has ate my paint off and caused my fuel lines to form rust on them and I need this fixed fast. Thanks!

tell me about it, it stopped for a while then the next thing I know my paint is bubbling and the fuel lines were rusted in some spots!

I have a master cylinder off of a 89 IROC with the rear-disc brakes that is in good condition...will this work with my drum brake rear or will the proportioning pressures screw up the way the brakes should stop? If not any recommendations on a master cylinder to replace mine with or jus tbuy a new one from a local parts store?

Thanks!

If you have drum brakes the master cylinders are the same, the 88 and older rear disc used a diffrent master.
