Anybody running Cooper Cobra tires? Opinions?

i had a set on a 84 z28 and switched them to a 81 malibou. good tires and they're made in ohio.

i run the viper series from cooper.
255/50vr16 in the back.
if the compound is anything like mine, thet'll grip really good until they are bald like mine. too many smoke clouds maybe.
good tires.

Theyre OK. Performance wise they are definitely not 1st rate. They do last a while and are pretty decent in the bad weather. BTW, i had COoper Cobra GTH's

They have a nice price tag, and I've heard good things on them.

Got 'em. Not real impressed with them performance-wise. But I don't think the type I got is supposed to be a performance tire anyway. Maybe there's different types of this tire, but I can't wait to get rid of mine. They're hard as a rock, harder than the asphalt. When I spin the tires at the track, well, let's just say the rubber on my fenders is from the track, not my tires.
