question for any one who knows??????????

whats the difference between tubular and boxed parts like lca's and sfc's? Is one design better than the other

Adjustable Borla cat back
Large tube runners
ported plenum
Holley afpr
SLP 1 3/4" headders (not installed yet)
FUTURE GOAL:
To go really F'in fast!!!

boxed is pretty much a DIY deal. the tubular parts are all aftermarket. you can see the differance it would cost you. i'm sure the aftermarket parts would be stronger by far.

I think what he's asking is a question I have myself. Some aftermarket control arms and sub frame connectors are made of square tubing (boxed), while others are round tube. What is the advantage/disadvantage of each type if any?

Yeah thats what I meant. Can Anyone help us?

Technically anything tubular will be stronger because of the fact that the round shape will not collapse. The real question is where the stress that would make the box collapse is being applied. For lca's the stress isn't applied where it would matter tube or box. So it doesn't really matter.
