I went to the local pull a part and they have a 88 IROC there and even though I didn't think about it when I was there getting the sway bars and wonder bar off I started thinking once I got home about what other parts would be worth getting. I know it has a torque arm coming from the rear to the transmission would this be worth getting? I also noticed it has drum brakes and had the L03 engine because the intake and stuff is still on the engine. Can anyone give me some suggestions on parts that would be an upgrade to parts on my 89RS or parts the IROC has that mine didn't come with. Even though the rear end is drum would it be positive traction or the same as mine? Anything else you can think of would be appreciated, i may go back tomorrow morning and get a few other things like the torque arm if its worth getting

 

All 3rd gens have the torque arm. It is the way they were all made.
