does anyone use the "FLAMING RIVER" manual steering box for 3rdgens ?
I found this piece in the the suspension section of my jegs catalogue.it's a manual steering gear box,$579. does anyone use this? it certainly is a ripoff, but I will consider buying this if it will improve my handling by a considerable margine.I'm not familliar with this company, but I've seen it mentioned in this forum...something about GTAs coming stock with a F.R. ps gear box,anyways...is the manual version the only one they make?for that matter,is there anyone else that makes steering boxes for special applications?

I installed an Agr 1161-p 12.1 fast ratio box in my IROC IM happy with it. I did have to change the valving in it. The IROCs have a firmer valving in them then a base car. I dont know if it has to do with the wheel size 15/16. If i where you I would give them a call. I had to get the 220 torsion valve installed in the box to get it similar to the stock IROC box.
