Does a 91Z28 need these special brake pads ?
Alrighty folks here's the story..
When i went to Checker, for my front pads and they asked if i had the "special performance package" i assumed it did since it is a Z28, (ive never replaced the pads, purchase 6 mos ago) the pads that they carry are Rebestos, the "brute stops" and these pads are 118 total, but im not really sure i need these pads, i thought it would just be the generic chevy pad ? Can anybody shed some light on this subject ???

ede is right they are refering to the 1LE system. I went thru the same thing when I replaced mine last year. I was purchasing the calipers, and they asked if it had the performance option. I said yes...but when I opened the box there was a PBR caliper for the 1LE.
You might be able to return them, or save them for a 1LE upgrade!
