rear coil-overs?
rear coil-overs?
I'm trying (planning) to put an 8.8" in my Camaro (hey, it was free) and I figured if I can run coil-overs it would be 2 fewer brackets I'll have to weld on (no spring perches).
Does anyone make "bolt-in" kits for 3rd gens?
I was thinking about buying a lower mount kit and making my own upper mount adapter (that bolts directly into the stock location on the body) but I'm woried about cracking the body/frame from having ALL the pressure on that thin sheet metal.
Any ideas?
Yes, I know about the torque arm mount! ;>
I'd run a 9", but I'm on a tight budget and my buddy says an 8.8" with c-clip eliminators and good axles is plenty for what I want to do.
Thanks in advance,
John
