Independent rear suspension???
Independent rear suspension???
Does anyone make them for our cars? I see there is a kit for mustangs now, howcome they get all the fun? Especially when we have the corvette on our side.
I know in 1991 when the Firehawk was first introduced it set beside a 91' Trans Am with an independent rear. Has anyone ever seen or heard anything on that car?

This guy has done the swap but needs more interest in the idea to be able to produce a kit for it. It uses a C4 Corvette IRS and involves shaving off the old suspension mounting points and welding on the new ones that would come in the kit. The guy really does need alot of people who are definitely interested to go ahead with it though. Check out his messageboard on the site.
