Springs that don't lower it

I have a 1985 Z28 and I don't really want to lower my car, but I want to get new springs. Right now I can feel every bump in the road, replacing the struts helped alot..I know, I know I need to replace the shocks too, I just don't have time. When I find springs, I will also replace the shocks, LCA's, panhard rod, and get subframes and a STB.

I was just reading a post from Steve Spohn saying that you need LCA relocation brackets that weld in, that's another reason I don't want to lower, another is that I live on dirt/gravel roads, my mom has chrushed the JEEP twice because of big rocks. I have also heard of cooling problems and scraping.

I just want new springs that don't lower my car. Where can you get new springs that don't lower your car for a decent price anyway. All that I have EVER found is lowering springs.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Thanks,
Jesse

Use stock 90 Iroc convertible springs if you want handling. 707lb/in that's what I run. In the rear I use 160lb/in springs from a citation. Yess they fit.

Hi Mike.

What's the 3 letter code for those front springs?

I got them from CarQuest/Napa. Just ask to see their spring book and look at all the applications for Camaro's. Get the lb/in you want from there.

Metco lower control arms come with the lowering bracket that bolt in , I have the Eibach pro kit it dropped the car about an inch , i didnt have anyproblems , and with my 17" wheels on there now the car went back up , but the wheels filled the wheel well which is what i really wanted anyways. so if you plan on going with 17" wheels get the eibach springs

Look no further.

Contact Global West. These guys make high quality $hit. You can order regular springs
from there and even specify how tight you want them.

I was thinking, since IROC's had a .5 inch drop compared to Z28's could I get IROC springs and not have to worry about changing or modifying anything?

What type of spring rate would I look for anyway?
